Shot concurrently with the annual Han Kuang exercises, the coverage spans from the front-line island of Kinmen to major urban centers across Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. Balancing the objectivity of photojournalism with a nuanced visual architecture, the series captures the quiet weight within contested space reflecting both the external pressure from mainland China and the enduring identity embedded in the island's everyday life.
